Kleen Oil Trial - John Deere 9510

The following trial occurred to show the improvement of the oil cleanliness by use of the Kleenoil bypass filtration system.

Before installing the Kleenoil system a sample was taken at the regular oil change interval with a contamination level of 590 mg/L.

After a fresh oil change and the installation of the Kleenoil filtration system, an oil sample was collected at 100, 233, 304, 500, & 750 hours of operation.

The chart below shows the declining levels of oil contamination as a result of the Kleenoil Filtration system. After running a full cycle of 750 hours the oil is  11.5 times cleaner compared to 390 hours without the Kleenoil system.

All filtration for the patch test is done through a .8-micron filter. For reference, a regular full-flow engine oil filter averages around 35 microns whereas the Kleenoil system will filter down to 3 microns.
